Synopsis:
This book is based in Australia about a teenaged girl who lives with her older brother who owns a cafe. On her way out to the car one night in the rain, she nearly gets hit by a guy. Come to find our he's an American on vacation for a couple months visiting his cousin. She falls in love. He falls in love. An old Flame comes into the picture. A few surprise twists - actually a pretty good twist. But to know the entire story you should READ it.
I don't tell the endings to books. Sorry. Especially if it's worth reading.
Genre: Contemporary Teen Romance
This is part of a Book Series I found on Amazon.
I read this one on my iPhone and it was about 796 screens. I'm not sure what it equates to in actual pages though.
What I can tell you though is that the book is pretty good. Not too much swearing. No gratuitous sex. I'd let my 15-year-old read it.
Overall, it wasn't bad. I contemplated buying the next book in the series, but ultimately, the book didn't engage me enough to justify the extra expense. $5 isn't bad for a book, but when you're reading 6 or 7 a week, it gets expensive fast. So I have to be selective.
However, I will hold onto this book and keep it in the back of my mind should I find a lull and need a little brain candy to entertain me in the future.

Welcome to My Book Bites Blog
Welcome to my Book Bites Blog!
The premise is simple: Read lots and lots of books and then give an analysis of them.
It's important to remember that my opinions most certainly are NOT gospel. There are some books that I adore that you may hate. That's the beauty of reading. There are millions of books to choose from. You just need to find the books that work for you.
Why am I doing this?
I'm a writer. And over the course of the last several months as I've become more and more serious about my craft, one tidbit of advice seems to appear over and over again. Read, read, and read some more! Don't stop reading and devour anything you can get your hands on. This will help you to become a better author.
Guess what? It's true! I read books and see things I really like about an author or a story, and I tuck those tidbits into the back of my mind to use later.
This Blog is more for my personal enjoyment than anything. It gives me a point of reference so that I know which authors to come back to and which ones to avoid in the future.
At my current rate, I'm going through about two books every three days. This is above and beyond writing, being a full-time mom of 4 children (one is special needs), a husband that works two jobs, and a part-time job of my own that I do in the evenings.
Yeah, life is pretty busy right now. But writing is my passion, so I make time.
I hope you enjoy!
